This is not my first blog but this is the first one that I write in English. I have previously had blogs in Finnish, first one already in 2004. In those I have written about politics, society, places, travelling, society, environment, religion, culture – and more. The articles in this blog will most probably deal with similar subjects. As a geographer, I am interested in a wide range of subjects.
For more about myself, see my homepage.
Some articles will be regularly updated
Usually, when blogs are concerned, you write a post and if you have something new to say about the same subject, you write a new post. That's how this blog will mostly work, too. However, my plan is also to write some more detailed informative articles. To keep them useful for a longer period, I will every now and then revise them: come back and check the information, maybe add some information, perhaps rewrite some parts of them.
For this reason, some articles in this blog may have even three different dates: when published for the first time, the date when it was checked and revised to keep the information up-to-date, and when it was last updated (whether a major revision or just some small correction). Perhaps a bit confusing but I try to indicate it clearly.
Comments and following
While I love to have feedback, I have not implemented commenting into this blog. I believe social media is more suitable for quick commenting, and if you have something more elaborated to say, you can send feedback directly to me (again, see my homepage for contact information).
I will post links to new articles at least on X and Threads, and perhaps establish also a Telegram channel. Those should make it easy both to follow the blog and to comment the articles. RSS feed will also be added at some point.
